Find Fun in a Small Town

Slow down the pace and enjoy life - small town-style with a visit to Flat Rock, NC. Flat Rock is located 22 miles south of Asheville, NC (so it's an easy day trip if you're staying there). Flat Rock is nicknamed "Little Charleston" because wealthy Charlestonians used to escape from the summer heat by retreating to the mountains of NC and to Flat Rock. In town, you'll find "Little Rainbow Row", a collection of shops and eateries in the heart of downtown. Be sure to grab a bite at the Flat Rock Village Bakery or Hubba Hubba Smokehouse - both on Little Rainbow Row. For more details, visit www.visitflatrock.com/Little_Rainbow_Row/index.html
